Robitussin On My Carpet

I was being lame last night and i spilled a 12 oz robitusin syrup formula on the carpet since i was in a hurry i letf it un atended until today i have been trying to get rid of the stain on the carpet but i havent been able to remove it completly.

Robitussin on my carpet. Keep covered for 30 minutes. The house is about 25 years old so it has some wear and tear that goes along with the age. For carpets thoroughly dampen the area with solution and cover with an absorbent pad moistened with the solution. Sprinkle the stain with baking soda and let it sit for six hours.

Overall it s in pretty decent condition but slowly over time we are having to deal with the carpet stains the scratches and holes in the walls and the indents left in the carpeting where the previous owners had their furniture. You can also use a dry solvent spot carpet cleaner following the label instructions. Instead it strips the dye out of the carpet fibers leaving a mark. Fat based stains butter margarine gravy etc.

Launder as soon as possible. Allow the area to thoroughly air dry. A bleach spill on a carpet whether it be large or small leaves behind a telltale mark. Technically bleach does not stain a carpet.

Use baking soda as a carpet cleaner for fatty stains. Using absorbent pads remove as much moisture as possible. Mix one tablespoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water.
