Remove Vinyl Window From Frame
Purchase vinyl safe reflective polyurethane enamel paint and primer rated for vinyl surfaces.
Remove vinyl window from frame. Flathead screwdriver safety glasses and gloves. A double hung window means that both sashes where the glass sits in the f. Slide a thin bladed putty knife in between the edge of the window frame and the stop and carefully pry the stop away from the frame. Cut away the old foam tape or sealer securing the glass unit.
