Remove pvc cement from carpet. Mineral oil is the safest mildest product you can use but acetone and even clear pvc. Simple glues like elmer s and some hot and wood glues are easy to clean. While pvc glue is a great asset to pvc construction it is not easily removed from carpet or other fabrics. Tough spots might require a power oscillating tool.
