Remove Liquid Soap From Carpet

At this point there should be minimal amounts of soap shampoo left in the carpet.

Remove liquid soap from carpet. Run your hand over the carpet until it feels sudsy like a sponge. Then use a wet dry vacuum cleaner to clean up excess water from the carpet. Next use a paper towel to blot the area. Scoop up as much of the liquid laundry detergent as you can from the top of the carpet fibers.

Continue blotting using fresh paper towels as needed until they no longer absorb any moisture. Cover the area that has the laundry detergent embedded in it with the hot water. It cleans the carpet thoroughly continue doing so until you are sure that the whole carpet is washed thoroughly and all the dirt and the residue have been removed next dry it naturally. Yes the spill will be plenty wet with soap but you will need to wet it with water to fully clean up the spill.

This will absorb much of the remaining shampoo. Step 1 wipe up as much of the soap as possible with a clean dry towel. After you have vacuumed the excess water the carpet fibers will still be wet. Removing liquid soap from carpet 1 spray the carpet with warm water.

The white vinegar in place of the shampoo helps in removing both the dirt and also the soap residue present in the carpet.
