Remove Blue Marker From Carpet
Alcohol has been successful in removing sharpie ink and paint marker strays from hard surfaces computer keyboards wooden tables countertops and walls included.
Remove blue marker from carpet. Open up the lid to the hairspray and pour it onto a clean cloth. Use a q tip when removing sharpie paint marker ink. This is another way to utilize store bought products to remove marker stains. After rubbing again all of the cleaner was removed and no signs of blue were left on the beige carpet.
The ink stain will come off onto the wet cloth then blot the stain again with a dry cloth. Apply with a cotton ball or cloth. As the cleaner sat the last little bits of blue were loosened up so a final round of buffing was sure to remove the remainder of the marker. With a firm hand dab the surface of the carpet with the marker stain.
If the permanent marker stain is on your carpeting remove it with hairspray or rubbing alcohol. Don t pour the alcohol directly onto the stain. The marker stain should begin to transfer from the carpet to the cloth leaving a clean carpet behind. Find out why t.
Then rinse it with plain water. Keep blotting for 30 minutes so the alcohol has time to dissolve the ink. Oddly enough you may have success removing marker stains using an oil free hairspray.
